The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger The Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee The Color Purple by Alice Walker Ulysses by James Joyce Beloved by Toni Morrison The Lord of the Flies… Read more »

So back in January when I was still in the first couple of weeks of blogging I was approved for Lost Voicecs by Sarah Porter on NetGalley. I posted my review early on, before I realized it would be better to wait closer to the release date, so I’m spotlighting this book now since it comes out July 4th. My review can be found here! This is a great title for summer reading. Just wanted to share this with you all, it’s very well done! I’m still pretty much in the beginning of this, but I’m enjoying it so far. I especially love this music, gives it an epic feel.
Because I’m beside myself with excitement, I figured this would be a good outlet. This Tuesday, March 1st, there are two books I’m especially excited about that are being released, and fair warning: They’re not YA. The Black Jewels series by Anne Bishop is a rich and dark fantasy that I absolutely love. I reread every book by her every single year. And let me tell you she has quite a few. The Mercy Thompson series by Patricia Briggs is a paranormal romance, heavy on the paranormal in the beginning, and more evenly balanced between the two later on in… Read more »
