Waiting on Wednesday {26}Tsarina by J. Nelle Patrick

An epic romance with glittering magical elements, TSARINA is swirling with beautiful prose, stark Russian contrasts, and lavish visuals perfect for fans of Libba Bray's A Great and Terrible Beauty. Romanov Russia is churning with rebellion. But Natalya holds a secret. It hums in her hands and warms her fingers with its magic, with the mystic power pulsing at its center? the power to protect the Tsar's true love. It is the secret of the Constellation Egg, Will it keep her safe?

This sounds like a magical historical read and I absolutely cannot wait for it. I’ve always been interested in the Russian royal family and can’t wait to read a story about a member I don’t know as much about, even if apparently the author takes certain licenses with his story. But that’s what is so great about fiction, you can change things!

I cannot wait to read this one! I have it on my TBR list as well. And it’s not that long of a wait, which is good. Awesome pick Chelsey! Hope you can check out my WoW.

It may not be that long of a wait, but what will likely happen is I’ll buy it and then not get around to it for two years! Seems to be a habit of mine. 😉

Oh, this is such a WONDERFUL pick!! I ADORE Russian literature, and am especially fascinated by the Romanov era in Russian history. Some years ago, I read a nonfiction book about the last Tsar, his family, and the infamous Rasputin. I couldn’t put the book down!

I’m rushing over to Amazon to put this on my wish list, and to Goodreads to put it on my TBR shelves!! Thanks for featuring it!! : )

Sounds like a great book! I’ve never read anything non-fiction about the family, but I’d like to some day. It’s such an interesting subject.

It sure is! I wish I could remember the name of that book. I did read quite a few years ago. If I come across it again, I’ll be sure to give you the title. : )

It’s definitely different than what else is currently coming out, which is nice. I hope we both enjoy it.
