Books That I Bought This Week!

book haul, in my mailbox 6 Comments 20th May, 2012

Small haul this week, which is good for my bookshelves. Definitely excited to get to these books, plus the copy of Emma now matches my Puffin copy of Pride and Prejuce! I’m hoping Puffin decides to do Sense & Sensibility, Persuasion, and Northanger Abbey in this same theme of design.

for review
Signed copy of Sirenz by Charlotte Bennardo & Natalie Zaman – Thanks Charlotte!
I’ve joined the blog tour for book two Sirenz Back in Fasion, which will be stopping by on July 1st!
Tempest Rising by Tracy Deebs
I had an ARC of this I won ages and ages ago, but never got around to it. Now that it’s available in paperback though I thought I’d just buy it.
Emma by Jane Austen
The only Jane Austen novel I’ve actually read is Pride and Prejudice, back in fifth grade. I hope to read Emma this summer!

What did you guys get this week? Let me know!

I have never read Emma. I might have to take the plunge though and give it a go. I love your blog design! So cute!

I quite enjoyed TempestRising, a-lthough I though it’ a bit weird combining selkies, which are Scottish critters, with things Hawaiian. I am also beginning to wonder if anyone in YA paranormal is not a prince or princess!

TEMPEST RISING and SIRENZ have been on my to-read list for the longest time and I still haven’t got around to get copies of them. 😀 Thanks a lot for reminding me though. Happy reading! 🙂

They look like good books. And I have to say that when I read the Jane Austen books Emma was my favourite. It was just a little bit different than the others, a bit ahead of it’s time.
